[MV] CN Blue - I am a Loner

I admit to just notice CN Blue, when the vocalist cum guitarist Jung YongHwa acted in "You're Beautiful" drama. From there I started to notice the band who started off their music career in Japan instead home country South Korea. After the drama success, their agency F&C Music decided to debut the band in their own country.
I like their Japanese album and of course this has made me anticipate their Korean album as well. The band is packed of talented yet good looking members. Their songs are different from what I have been listening in Kpop. It's very refreshing and I even missed their Korean dialect when they sing in Korean. I like the band music genre and of course I definitely can't wait to have my CD arrived from Korea !

[Review] Love Audited by Marthino Andries

So, I went to one major bookstore inside Tamini Square last Sunday (Jan 10,2010) and bought several novels.

I bought like 5 , and one of it is titled "Love Audited" - author is Marthino Andries.
Call me lame, yet, this is my first time hearing the author name. I only knew Sitta Karina, Dee, Fira Basuki, Ninit Yunita, Clara Ng and my 1st ever favorite Indonesia writer named Adhitya Mulya.

Though it's my first time, yet, the synopsis in the back cover quite interesting.

So, the book is about 2 characters named Neena and Verdi who happened to have a bad first meeting experience (car accidents in a parking lot-money throwing-yelling-etc.). After the accident, it is known by Neena that the 2 are working for the same company plus at the same level management. Neena is an Export Mgr. whilst Verdi is an R&D Mgr.; shortly, these 2 are in the end involved in an on-off relationship or u might wanna call it love-hate relationship.

Ok, my opinion, for a first time reader of the author novel, I must say that Marthino's writing style suits me well. It's not hard to understand, good flow, interesting characters name with understand-able character description and of course nice ending ^^ The author writes the novel nicely with interesting yet not too complicated conflicts. Me say... it's a pretty good novel ^^

What's coming to my attention is ... that the novel is too short ~ I think the author can create a longer 'knowing each other' relationship between Neena and Verdi, because I think the process until Verdi falls for Neena is way too quick. Another thing is -maybe it's a typo- in the back cover it says that Neena is an R&D Mgr. and Verdi is the Internal Auditor, whilst inside it is described that Verdi is the one who owns the position of R&D Mgr. whilst Neena is the head of the Export Dept. It's a minor mistake, yet, might caused confusion. So, I took the easy step, I trust the inside details *lol*

Overall, I like the novel and I think I will be eye-ing Marthino Andries' works from now on!

Way to go Indonesian Novelist ^^

Goodbye 2009! Hello 2010!

Today is the 1st day in 2010 a.k.a Jan 1st, 2010!

As I was trying to make my own 2010 Resolution, I remembered all the things that happened along 2009. So many things happened, especially this past 6 months. My life is like a roller coaster this year.

Let's cherished the past, learn our mistakes and do better in 2010!

[TV:DRAMA] Tokyo Dogs Eps.1

One of my favorite J-actor 'Oguri Shun' is having a comeback!This time he plays in an action/comedy genre drama named 'TOKYO DOGS'.
The drama synopsis

Takakura So witnessed his father's murder at a young age. Pledging to catch the killer, he grows up to become an elite cop in New York City, where the criminal lives. His character is cool-headed and disciplined, yet adapts well. Because of major drug dealings, he gets sent to Tokyo to conduct a joint investigation with the Japanese police. There, he gets teamed up with, Kudo Maruo, a detective from a special investigative division. Kudo is a hot-blooded fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent, but he makes a strong impression with his stylish appearance and is always interested in going on group dates. His personality, interests, and investigation methods are completely mismatched with Takakura's, but the two somehow work together to crack the case they've been given.

1st episode review

The 1st episode as any other drama is all about the character's introduction. Oguri Shun plays a 'cool' slash good detective named Takakura So. The story highlighted about an attack to one organization done by a US-Japan team lead by Takakura. Shortly, the attack was fail, and Takakura sent back to Japan and teamed up with fighter detective Kudo Maruo and continue his investigation towards the organization.

What I like about J-drama is how they put us viewers into such mind exercise as we need to pay attention closely to the drama or we might missed out the small yet important details in the drama. Oguri Shun this time portrays such a cool yet good detective character, wearing a suit and always w/ serious face. Oguri Shun reunites with fellow actor cum model Mizushima Hiro from HanaKimi drama in this action/comedy drama. Hiro plays the lively fighter detective character named Kudo Maruo. These 2 are people w/ 2 different characters yet they completed each other's weakness. I also like on how So's mother is always calling during their operation and how So is always asking her a 10 minutes time b4 he returns her call and he did it (the operation) in 10 minutes period. Though he feel disturbed to her calls, yet he always answering her calls - talking about a polite son here ^^

Meanwhile, Maruo is the one who will put a lively atmosphere into the drama. I can see that these 2 will be doing just fine despite their 2 different characters.

There's also a female character named Yuki. Yuki is the one whom So and Maruo found during their US attack. She's suspected to have such an important role in the organization yet she lose her memory and that is the reason why these 2 detectives are guarding her.

I love how So's character is alway cool and all, Oguri Shun really portrays the character well I must say :D Hiro is also doing the same for his Maruo character

Besides action, this drama is also puts a comedy element into the drama. I was super lol-ed when these 2 men argues during an attack. It's also funny when So's throwing such a random comment during conversation like when he suddenly asked Maruo 'bout which restaurant that he n Yuki intended to go , then he suddenly talks about how bad the Tom Yam is, etc. haha..super random ^^

I really enjoyed this 1st eps and I def looking forward to watch the 2nd eps the soonest I get my free time.

[MV] YounHa - Broke Up Today

This song is really different from her last cheerful promotion! This song really shows YounHa singing skills. The MV is sad as the 2 talents are portraying the sad feeling of loosing your bestfriend and girlfriend at the same time. A bit common in the Kpop Scene, yet, what d'u expect from a sad love story MV right? Shudn't be far from die-cry-tears concept indeed.

YounHa has catched my attention since her debut. She's one of those great singer who can actually sing and play music instrument as well as singing a popular song concept. So, her music is what I called "When idealism meets the market"!

This one titled 'Finally' which featured U-KISS Kevin does good to my ears.
Kevin voice mixed well with the music and raps.
I think Brave Brothers shud do music show promotion! Why? Simply bcoz they're too good !

suk4suk1 is from suk4 + suk1 ! suk4 read as 'suka' means 'like' in bahasa, whilst suk1 read as 'suki' means 'like' in Japanese.
So, u can say that this blog is all about the things that I like or it's for about any slash whatsoever subject that I feel like writing ^^

I speak Bahasa, English, Conversational Japanese (but plz write in 'romaji') and passive Korean. So, I am fine with those languages ^^
